Work Orders

Work Orders are used to group, manage, and plan Tasks, which are associated with a turbine, blade or damage, and can include things such as inspections, repairs, third-party photos, etc.

Additionally, work orders can contain tasks that are assigned across multiple sites, turbines, and blades. As an example, a work order could represent a repair campaign where there are multiple tasks for repairing damages across multiple sites and multiple turbines. In this case, each task on the work order would correlate to an individual damage.

The following pages walk through how to create a new work order, edit or delete an existing work order, change a work order's status, export from a work order, and upload documents to a work order.

Navigation To Work Orders

Clicking the Work Orders link in the top left table of contents will bring the user to the Work Orders view.

There are two tabs within the Work Order view: the Work Orders tab and the Tasks tab.

Work Orders Tab

The Work Orders tab allows users to search, filter, browse, edit existing, or create new work orders.

There are five sub-tabs within the Work Orders tab that organize work orders by there status and due date: -The All sub-tab displays all work orders. -The Open sub-tab displays all work orders whose current status is either "Pending" or "In Progress". -The Overdue sub-tab displays all work orders with past-due due dates. -The Unscheduled sub-tab displays all work orders without an assigned due date. -The Complete sub-tab displays all work orders with a status marked as "Complete".

From each of these sub-tabs, the user can browse, search, edit and filter existing work orders, or create new work orders. Each of these options is explored further in the Work Orders page of this Document.

Tasks Tab

There are six sub-tabs within the Tasks tab that organize work orders by there status and due date: -The All sub-tab displays all tasks. -The Unplanned sub-tab displays all Tasks that are not yet associated to a Work Order. -The Open sub-tab displays all tasks whose current status is either "Pending" or "In Progress". -The Overdue sub-tab displays all tasks with past-due due dates. -The Unscheduled sub-tab displays all tasks without an assigned due date. -The Complete sub-tab displays all tasks with a status marked as "Complete".

Each sub-tab provides a table overview of all tasks within that task status category. Users can sort and filter by Task Number, Work Order Number, task Type, Due Date, Status, Description, Location, Tags, and Created date.

Hyperlinks to the "Task #", "Work Order #", Site name, Turbine number, Blade serial number, and Damage ID will bring the user to those respective pages.
